HVAC Systems & Diagnostics 1

Titan Tech’s HVAC Systems & Diagnostics 1 is designed for students who want to build a strong foundation in residential HVAC service. You will train with the same tools, equipment, and service scenarios used in the field while learning from experienced instructors in a hands on lab environment. 

Whether you’re new to HVAC or looking to strengthen your service skills, this 50 hour course provides the practical knowledge and confidence needed to diagnose, maintain, and service residential heating and cooling systems.

Training Includes

• HVAC safety and best practices
• Refrigeration cycle fundamentals
• Electrical theory and diagnostics
• Airflow fundamentals
• Professional tool and meter use
• Basic HVAC troubleshooting
• Capacitors, contractors, and relays
• Refrigerant recovery fundamentals
• System performance testing
• Residential service fundamentals

By the end of this course, you will have hands on experience using professional HVAC tools, testing electrical components, evaluating system performance, and diagnosing common residential HVAC problems. You will leave with the confidence to perform entry-level residential service with accuracy and professionalism.

HVAC Systems & Diagnostics 1 is the recommended starting point for students entering the trade and provides the foundation for HVAC Systems & Diagnostics 2.

• Schedule Monday through Friday; 7am – 5:30pm

• Contractor-Grade Starter Tool Kit: $550.00
  Includes a professional tool bag and a carefully selected set of essential hand tools recommended by our instructors. Students are welcome to use Titan Tech’s classroom tools during training at no additional cost, bring their own tools that meet course requirements, or purchase the optional starter tool kit to use during and after the course.
• Campus Meal Package: $175.00
  Includes lunch, snacks, coffee, and bottled water each training day. Students are also welcome to bring their own meals and use the campus breakroom and refrigerator at no additional charge.
