Titan Tech’s HVAC Systems & Diagnostics course is designed to prepare students for real service work– not classroom theory. Over two focused weeks, you’ll train using the same tools, components, and troubleshooting scenarios HVAC technicians encounter on actual service calls.

Our lab simulates real home systems and conditions and walks you step-by-step through system diagnostics, component testing, airflow evaluation, and common failure scenarios found in residential heating and cooling systems. This immersive setup gives technicians experience equivalent to nearly two years in the field.

Whether you’re new to HVAC or looking to strengthen your diagnostic skills, this course builds confidence and practical experience so you can work safely, efficiently, and professionally in the field.

What You’ll Learn

• Core HVAC system theory, including refrigeration cycle fundamentals, heat transfer, and airflow
• Safe use of HVAC diagnostic tools: multimeters, gauges, temperature probes, and airflow testing equipment
• Electrical diagnostics related to HVAC systems, including contractors, capacitors, motors, and control boards
• Step-by-step diagnostic procedures for air conditioners, heat pumps, and gas furnaces
• Identifying and troubleshooting common HVAC failures: no cooling, no heat, short cycling, airflow issues, and noise complaints
• Thermostats, low-voltage wiring, safeties, and control logic
• Refrigerant diagnostics, system pressures, superheat/subcooling concepts (diagnostics focus only)
• Airflow fundamentals, duct considerations, filters, and basic statistic pressure concepts
• Real-world service call simulations from customer complaint to repair recommendation
• Safety protocols, best practices, and proper documentation during HVAC service calls
• EPA 608 exam preparation and certification support

Tuition & Payment Details

• Full tuition: $5,850
• Reserve your seat with a $1000 deposit
• Remaining balance of $4,850 is due 10 days before class begins
• Payment plans are available through Affirm at checkout (subject to Affirm approval)
• Deposits are refundable up to 10 days before class; after that, tuition may be moved one time to a future class
